HELP Academy signs MOU with EMI Management Sdn Bhd

HELP Academy recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) agreement with EMI Management Sdn Bhd as part of the officiating of the Salon Management Programme with the Department of Management Studies (DOMS).

At the MOU signing ceremony, HELP Academy was jointly represented by Prof. Dato Dr. Zakaria Ahmad, CEO of HELP Academy and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) of HELP University; Mr Tony Leong Kuok How, Head of the Department of Management Studies and Ms Chong Weng Lian, COO of HELP Academy. EMI Management Sdn Bhd was represented by Mr Eden Er, Founder of e3 Malaysia; Mr Romy Shen, Operation Area Manager of e3 Malaysia; Mr Calvin Toh, Senior Technical Manager at IM Hair & Beauty Sdn Bhd and Mr Jeff Lee, a partner of e3 Malaysia.

Through this collaboration, the Salon Management Programme aims to train and equip students with a holistic learning of vocational and managerial training. The purpose of this programme is to train and build up entrepreneurs and professional hair stylists with leadership and management skills, as well as to help students by providing opportunities for growth in their future careers. Students will be able to receive their education along with work experience at e3 Malaysia, a professional hairstyling salon based in Malaysia. The organisation also has more than 450 outlets in Taiwan, where students will be able to visit to attend classes and seminars, as well as a training course of 3 months.
