  • Aravinn achieved the distinction of a Gold medal in athletics for the Men’s 400 m event at the 2018 SUKIPT (Institutions of Higher Learning) Games.
  • Held biennially by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, the 2018 Games attracted more than 6,300 athletes from 93 participating contingents.

Achievements

  • Chew Yiwei, Malaysia’s national diver, surprised everyone by winning the bronze medal in the 2018 Asian Games men’s 3m springboard event in Jakarta.
  • Yi Wei’s achievement was the first medal by a Malaysian in Asiad’s men diving in 16 years.
  • In 2017, he also won 1 gold and 2 silvers at the SEA games held in Kuala Lumpur.

  • Sivaneshwaran garnered a double achievement in athletics at the recent SUKIPT (Institutions of Higher Learning) Games in Kuala Lumpur hosted biennially by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.
  • About 69 local and 9 international IPT contingents took part in 27 sports at SUKIPT 2018.
  • Sivaneshwaran was Gold medalist for both the Men’s 5,000 m and 10,000 m events.
